There is a very nice book by Napoleon Hill which is called Think and Grow Rich. This book is also called “Granddaddy of All Motivational Literature.”
Why I am giving this reference? I’m writing a bit about business incubation and entrepreneurship, strategy and business models, economic development and different economic factors. These are all important factors and things that knowledgeable entrepreneurs should have in their backpacks. But what is really important is Human aspects of Entrepreneur. Social part of entrepreneurship is much more important than any given business incubator, or venture investor, or money and business plan.
So, I am asking you, “What makes a successful entrepreneur?”, “What makes a successful person?”, and “Not..”, eventually, “What makes a winner?”
The man who asked and listened for the answer, Napoleon Hill, is now counted in the top ranks of the world’s winners himself. The most famous of all teachers of success spent “a fortune and the better part of a lifetime of effort” to produce the “Law of Success” philosophy. He published the book in 1937. Hill draws on stories of Andrew Carnegie, Thomas Edison, Henry Ford, and other millionaires of his generation to illustrate his principles.
I would higly reccommend all our readers and entrepreneurs to read this book. Below you will find a link to a YouTube clip where Mr. Hill explains his ideas.
I would also like to finish with an interesting infographic from 2011. It was in Russian, bu we make a simple translation of key points. It shows the diifference of thinking between poor, middle and rich. The difference in mindset can drive you to success, or leave in poverty.
